Christopher Stott is one of the most incredible contemporary artists around today. His work is outstanding and his ability to give his subject matter such incredible life is truly amazing. I have never been a fan of modern art, and spent the majority of my school years trying to deflect the teachings of progressing art techniques as I was adamant of sticking with tradition, so it is so wonderful to come across paintings such as these. I don't think I can honestly put into words how in love I am with Stott's paintings.
